Tall Oaks!

Well I think it is safe to say that Tall Oaks was a success!! We have all heard great feedback on the trip and a number of the students have said they want to go back...THIS YEAR!! I'd like to give a shout out to Peggy Kelly for doing the bulk of the organization work. She took the time to contact Tall Oaks from the very beginning and we all thought the day went wonderfully!

Below is a picture of some members of the Seton house and Siena house working together to get everyone on the large teeter-totter. It took a few tries but they did get it!

This picture is one we took before we left school of the Seton House. Go Eagles!


Again, it was a great trip and we are already looking forward to going back! Have a great rest of the week!

We talked a lot about being ready for high school and what skills would be helpful for our middle schoolers, regardless of what high school they choose. 7th Grade Social Studies

7th Grade Social Studies 7th Grade was given a project outline/requirements/instructions in class today.  This project will take the place of a written exam over chapter 3.  Students will be responsible for creating a written and oral presentation over a location they have chosen.  Students will need to complete research over the weekend so they are prepared to work in class Monday.  A helpful website has been posted under Social Studies Links for this project.    All projects will be due Thursday, Nov. 7th.   The oral presentations will take place in class Thursday and Friday; students are encouraged to have props and be creative!

Quarter 2 projects

Students received their quarter two projects today. We will work with these as we work through our reading this quarter.
