7th and 8th Grade Social Studies

7th Grade is completing an introduction to Geography - they will have a Chapter 1 Test Wednesday, Sept. 18th!

8th Grade  will complete a unit on the beginnings of the US, Articles of Confederation and an intro of the US Constitution.  They have a test scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19th!

As a reminder, their text books are on line for easy access at home! :)



Reminders:

Monday, September 16th is school picture day!

Next week is a 4 day week as teachers will be in School of Faith on Friday!

7th Grade Social Studies

7th Grade Social Studies 7th Grade was given a project outline/requirements/instructions in class today.  This project will take the place of a written exam over chapter 3.  Students will be responsible for creating a written and oral presentation over a location they have chosen.  Students will need to complete research over the weekend so they are prepared to work in class Monday.  A helpful website has been posted under Social Studies Links for this project.    All projects will be due Thursday, Nov. 7th.   The oral presentations will take place in class Thursday and Friday; students are encouraged to have props and be creative!

Quarter 2 projects

Students received their quarter two projects today. We will work with these as we work through our reading this quarter.
