SHOJ - English Language Arts

It was fun to watch the students present their talents in House on Friday! Here one student practices his "talent" of relaxing in his hammock, while his friends support him. :) Siena is trying to take over 2nd place in the House points!

8th graders finished up their presentations of their knothole projects, which ties into the chapters we finished in To Kill a Mockingbird . Jem and Scout find items in a knothole that someone left for them, so the kids brought items that they could leave for someone. I always love seeing what objects are significant to them and hearing the stories behind them.
