The following links are for extra practice for Wednesday's Celebrations.  Without a membership for iXl.com, students can only spend a certain amount of time on the website.  When I tried, closing and opening a new browser worked a couple of times.  Keep in mind that students can use Kahn Academy to reteach a concept as well!

7th Grade:

**This site does not have converting repeating decimals to fractions or approximating irrational numbers, but both can easily be made up and quickly checked on a calculator.

7th Grade Social Studies

7th Grade Social Studies 7th Grade was given a project outline/requirements/instructions in class today.  This project will take the place of a written exam over chapter 3.  Students will be responsible for creating a written and oral presentation over a location they have chosen.  Students will need to complete research over the weekend so they are prepared to work in class Monday.  A helpful website has been posted under Social Studies Links for this project.    All projects will be due Thursday, Nov. 7th.   The oral presentations will take place in class Thursday and Friday; students are encouraged to have props and be creative!

Quarter 2 projects

Students received their quarter two projects today. We will work with these as we work through our reading this quarter.
