We've been busy this week in English class!
Seventh grade students are starting to work with our figurative language terms. We had fun playing allusion Bingo the past two days! They know that they should be studying their words for a test on figurative language that we will have in a couple weeks.
Eighth graders have also been working on figurative language in reading, and they will have a test in several weeks too. In writing, we have been focusing on subjects and verbs and how to make quality sentences with only two strong words. They worked so hard writing their two-word sentence prompts. The finished products were awesome!
