Faith Families

We're excited for faith families tomorrow! The 8th graders are doing a wonderful job leading. The 7th graders have also been great role models for the first grade buddies in Mass. They also had the chance to help the first graders to make their prayer books. It surprised them to remember that they once practiced saying the Hail Mary, which now comes so easily. Your student will be bringing home information about a service project that we are participating in as faith families.


One faith family plays a game to get to know each other. 

Each eighth grader helps lead about ten students.

We talked a lot about being ready for high school and what skills would be helpful for our middle schoolers, regardless of what high school they choose. 7th Grade Social Studies

7th Grade Social Studies 7th Grade was given a project outline/requirements/instructions in class today.  This project will take the place of a written exam over chapter 3.  Students will be responsible for creating a written and oral presentation over a location they have chosen.  Students will need to complete research over the weekend so they are prepared to work in class Monday.  A helpful website has been posted under Social Studies Links for this project.    All projects will be due Thursday, Nov. 7th.   The oral presentations will take place in class Thursday and Friday; students are encouraged to have props and be creative!

Quarter 2 projects

Students received their quarter two projects today. We will work with these as we work through our reading this quarter.
