ELA Update

We've been working hard in ELA! 7th graders have been spending time working on figurative language. Here they are putting together puzzles to review the definitions of the literary terms. They know they should be studying their literary terms for their upcoming test (not this week but probably late next week, depending on our progress). They're working hard! This week we're working on applying our literary terms to "The Treasure of Lemon Brown." 

Eighth graders are also working on figurative language. We've had a lot of fun the past couple of days finding funny puns and allusions! The 8th graders have also been a nice job in writing class where they've been blogging each week, as well as completing an About the Author. We're loving the new laptop cart, so we can work in the classroom! Eighth graders  should be studying their literary terms for their upcoming test (not this week but probably late next week, depending on our progress).  This week we're working on applying our literary terms to short stories.
