Comic Creator

8th-grade students,

Some of you were trying to get Bitstrips comic creator to work in the lab with little success.

I found another site called ToonDoo. You do have to create an account, but you could save your comic to your "Toons" and print it from there. http://www.toondoo.com/

Remember, making a comic is just one option! You can also draw a scene, which I know many of you are doing.

Membean is a critically acclaimed vocabulary program that will enable your student to acquire an advanced vocabulary which will aide his or her success both in academics, and future job career choices. Project work day

Students, Remember to mark our work day on 11/24 (the Monday right before Thanksgiving). We will be in the lab. Bring flash drives and any supplies you need for your projects. Make sure you're caught up on Membean by that point if you're wanting to work on your project for the whole class. You will be at 390 minutes for the semester by that point. Thanks! Miss R.

Tall Oaks!

Well I think it is safe to say that Tall Oaks was a success!! We have all heard great feedback on the trip and a number of the students have said they want to go back...THIS YEAR!! I'd like to give a shout out to Peggy Kelly for doing the bulk of the organization work. She took the time to contact Tall Oaks from the very beginning and we all thought the day went wonderfully! Below is a picture of some members of the Seton house and Siena house working together to get everyone on the large teeter-totter. It took a few tries but they did get it! This picture is one we took before we left school of the Seton House. Go Eagles! Again, it was a great trip and we are already looking forward to going back! Have a great rest of the week!
