The 7th and 8th grade had the chance to hear from some of our students from last year! We talked a lot about being ready for high school and what skills would be helpful for our middle schoolers, regardless of what high school they choose. Thanks so much to our 9th graders for this great information! Feel free to talk to your child about what he or she learned.

Figurative Language

We've had fun this week finding figurative language! 8th graders even decorated the halls with some "tearable" puns. They made us laugh as we found them. Figurative language tests for both 7th and 8th grade will be Sept. 30th, which is the Wednesday after our 4-day weekend next week.

Upcoming Dates

We'd love for you to join us for School Tours on January 23rd, at 5:30 p.m. Though many of you are very familiar with our school, if you know of any family members or parishoners who would like to see what's going at Sacred Heart, please feel free to bring them! The kindergarten information night will start at 6:30 p.m. with day care provided.  There is also a mandatory enrollment meeting for parents on Feb. 5th at 6:30 p.m.
