I will be placing an order for Scholastic next TUESDAY, September 6th. With the start of the year, I encouraged the kids to find books that interest them! We all tried to come up with seven books  on our To-Be-Read List that  we would be interested in reading. Students today worked on making a list of books that they want to read this year. I love watching them share reading recommendations with one another, especially when they get excited about a book that they loved! We have lots of great reading to come in the year ahead!

We've had a great first two days back at school. Today we sorted our new members into their houses. Siena is excited -- and hoping to win three years in a row! 8th graders showing off the trophy  Welcoming our new 6th grade members! The new Siena house
